Rehman Construction & Interiors Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in construction cost estimation, project budgeting, and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 15 professionals, leading tasks and technical guidance to ensure project cost control and financial accuracy. This role demands strong analytical skills to prepare detailed Bills of Quantities, evaluate supplier quotations, and maintain competitive and precise cost estimates aligned with diverse project scopes, primarily in interiors and renovation sectors. The selected candidate will collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to solve cost-related challenges promptly and maintain strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards. The position requires frequent site visits to verify quantities and oversee project progress and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for tender documentation, progress reporting, negotiation with stakeholders, and supporting payment application processes, contributing significantly to the profitability and success of construction projects.
Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and renovation projects, ensuring precision and completeness.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to accurately estimate material quantities and requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of construction market rates for civil and interior works to provide competitive and realistic cost estimates.
Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets aligned with client expectations and project scopes.
Monitor project expenditures through stringent cost control measures to minimize budget overruns and financial risks.
Coordinate effectively with project managers, architects, and contractors to swiftly resolve cost-related issues and maintain project timelines.
Lead and manage a team of 15 members by delegating responsibilities, providing technical guidance, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering productivity.
Collaborate in the preparation of tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract conditions and project requirements.
Review and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to verify competitiveness, accuracy, and adherence to project needs.
Generate regular progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation for monitoring and financial tracking purposes.
Conduct site visits to validate estimated quantities, assess quality standards, and monitor adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
Support negotiation processes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and maintain project profitability.
Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
Assist in preparing and submitting interim payment applications and final account settlements accurately and on time.
