We are seeking an experienced Takeoff Estimator to support commercial flooring and tile installation projects. This role involves converting large commercial building plans into highly detailed material takeoffs and pricing estimates.
Responsibilities
1. Review building plans with notes provided.
2. Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam (flooring/tile).
3. Apply pricing by unit type (e.g., cost per sq ft).
4. Include extras per specifications (e.g., waterproofing, trims).
5. Enter all results into a client-provided Excel template.
6. Deliver takeoffs under tight deadlines when needed.
Required Deliverables
1. Line-item takeoffs with area breakdowns
2. Pricing per unit and total value.
3. Clear documentation for all inclusions based on plan notes.
Qualifications
1. Must have prior experience with Bluebeam for takeoffs.
2. Strong understanding of commercial flooring/tile installation.
3. Ability to read architectural/MEP drawings accurately.
4. Advanced Excel skills for quantity and cost inputs.
5. Highly detail-oriented and reliable on deadlines.
