Health and Safety Officer

The HSE Officer at Royal Fans plays a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace environment by enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies. This role is responsible for conducting regular hazard identification and risk assessments to prevent accidents and incidents. The HSE Officer monitors compliance with occupational safety laws, company guidelines, and industry standards, helping to maintain a culture of safety throughout the organization. Experienced in managing safety management systems, this position promotes workplace inspections, safety audits, and emergency preparedness to mitigate risks effectively. Working without direct team management responsibilities, the HSE Officer collaborates closely with various departments, contractors, and site personnel to implement safety measures and report safety performance. The role requires a deep understanding of fire safety, proper use of personal protective equipment, and accident investigation procedures, ensuring that operational activities align with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Proficiency in documentation and reporting using MS Office and other safety management tools is essential to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments regularly to identify and minimize workplace hazards.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Perform workplace inspections and safety audits to monitor and improve safety practices and conditions.
Implement and maintain safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire safety training, firefighting equipment maintenance, and emergency response planning.
Promote the correct selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among employees and contractors.
Carry out accident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of incidents.
Provide safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to enhance employee safety knowledge.
Maintain accurate HSE documentation, prepare reports, and update safety records using MS Office applications.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve workplace health, safety, and environmental performance.
