In this role, you will work closely with the HR team to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented, qualified candidates and manage day to day coordination of scheduling resources. Identify and help implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruiting process including sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations.
  • Research effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for the organization.
  • Ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience through the interview and hiring process.
  • Facilitates job postings and advertisement processes.
  • Coordinates background screening, drug screens, and reference checks of candidates
  • Assist HR team and department managers to manage and coordinate resource scheduling
  • Provide back-up support for HR in payroll, lead generation and other areas as needed.
  • Receives and addresses employee questions regarding company policies, procedures and benefit plans as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in various HR projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Exceptional at building relationships with managers, employees and candidates through written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Experienced: 1+ years of managing all phases of recruitment and hiring process.
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/time & task MGMT skills

Work Environment

  • Working at computer and sitting for long periods of time. (Sitting, talking, hearing).
