Security incharge

The Security Incharge is responsible for ensuring the safety and discipline across the company premises by supervising security personnel and managing access control. This role involves protecting employees, visitors, company assets, and inventory while preventing unauthorized activities. The Security Incharge must respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, maintaining a secure environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise security guards and organize duty rosters to guarantee continuous security coverage.
- Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles, enforcing strict access control procedures.
- Conduct thorough checks and maintain visitor management protocols to ensure authorized access.
- Oversee CCTV surveillance systems and perform regular security patrols throughout the facility.
- Maintain detailed logs including security reports, vehicle records, and incident documentation for accountability.
- Ensure security presence during dispatch, loading, and unloading operations, especially when handling luggage and goods.
- Verify dispatch documents, gate passes, and vehicle details before permitting goods to leave the premises.
- Monitor the movement of company assets, inventory, and finished goods to prevent theft or unauthorized removal.
- Report any theft, damage, suspicious activities, security breaches, or incidents promptly to management.
- Handle emergencies efficiently, coordinating with management and relevant authorities as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Admin, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Operations teams on all security-related matters.
- Enforce strict compliance with company security policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of Intermediate level.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a factory, warehouse, manufacturing, or corporate setting.
- Proven experience in supervising security staff and managing duty rosters effectively.
- Practical knowledge of CCTV monitoring, access control systems, vehicle checking, and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong observation skills, effective communication, leadership abilities, and the capacity to remain calm during emergencies.
- Physically fit, disciplined, responsible, and willing to work shifts or extended hours as required.

Compensation and Work Location
This position offers a monthly salary in the range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000. It is an on-site role requiring the candidate’s physical presence at the company premises.
