Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in B2B eCommerce, digital commerce, business analysis, and technical solution consulting. This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, product and project teams, developers, and QA to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable solutions ready for estimation and implementation. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing workflows, system integrations, and platform capabilities while supporting both presales and delivery activities within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business discovery sessions to gather detailed requirements and perform process analysis for complex projects. Understand and challenge business problems, identify gaps, and define practical solution approaches. Prepare comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and technical specifications.

Analyze B2B eCommerce workflows including pricing, customer segmentation, catalogs, orders, quotes, approvals, payments, and fulfillment processes. Evaluate APIs and system integrations involving ERP, CRM, payment gateways, shipping, and third-party platforms. Assess platform capabilities, limitations, customization needs, dependencies, and overall feasibility.

Support presales activities by providing solution consulting, estimations, Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and discovery engagements. Manage communication with clients and internal stakeholders, proactively addressing risks and dependencies to maintain alignment throughout project delivery. Collaborate effectively with Project Management, Development, QA, Design, and Sales teams across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization of business analysis practices. Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to enhancing the quality and efficiency of BA deliverables and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. At least six years of experience in business analysis, preferably within IT, eCommerce, or digital transformation projects.

Proven expertise in B2B eCommerce and digital commerce environments, with experience working alongside international clients and cross-functional technical teams. Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), system integrations, data flows, ERP and CRM systems, and third-party services.

Demonstrated success in presales support activities including estimations, proposals, SOWs, and solution consulting. Solid knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and requirements engineering principles.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart or Visio, and Figma.

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools for business analysis tasks such as requirements discovery, research, documentation, process analysis, solution exploration, and estimation support. Ability to critically assess AI outputs, identify gaps, ensure accuracy, and improve the quality and efficiency of deliverables.

Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, and ERP/enterprise software including Shopify/Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, HubSpot CRM, Oracle, P21, Microsoft Dynamics (including Dynamics 365 Business Central), Odoo, NetSuite, and similar enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in establishing or enhancing business analysis processes, standards, templates, and reusable practices. Background in managing complex B2B eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and third-party integration projects.

Knowledge of modern AI tools and workflows to boost analysis, documentation, research, solution exploration, and overall business analysis productivity is highly desirable.
