Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Design, develop, and deliver advanced courses and workshops in Health Professions Education (HPE) for faculty, residents, and postgraduate students.
- Employ innovative and evidence-based pedagogical approaches, including adult learning theories, simulation, and technology-enhanced learning.
- Lead the development, review, and revision of HPE curricula, ensuring alignment with national and international standards.
- Supervise and mentor participants in SSHPE programs (e.g., MHPE, diplomas, certificates) on their projects, research, and dissertations.
Research and Scholarship in HPE:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in key areas of Health Professions Education, such as curriculum design, assessment, faculty development, simulation, interprofessional education, and educational technology.
- Secure external research funding through grants and collaborations.
- Publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed national and international HPE journals.
- Present research findings at relevant conferences and academic forums.
- Mentor junior faculty and students on HPE research methodologies and projects.
Faculty Development and Mentorship:
- Develop and facilitate faculty development programs for STMU and Shifa International Hospitals staff, focusing on enhancing teaching skills, assessment methods, and curriculum development.
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and coaching to faculty members across various health professions.
Service and Administration:
- Serve on SSHPE, university, and hospital committees related to education, curriculum, assessment, and faculty development.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and governance of SSHPE and STMU.
- Participate in accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives for educational programs.
- Represent SSHPE and STMU at national and international HPE forums and professional organizations.
- Engage in community outreach and professional service activities related to HPE.
