Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Demonstrator in Dentistry to provide high-quality clinical teaching and practical demonstrations to dental students. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor of Dental Surgery or its equivalent and has expertise in various aspects of dental sciences including oral anatomy, dental materials, and patient care. This role focuses on facilitating the learning process through effective demonstration techniques, curriculum development, and assessment methods. The Demonstrator actively contributes to creating an engaging and supportive educational environment while ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols. The Demonstrator will be responsible for preparing and delivering instructional sessions, supervising clinical procedures, and assisting students in developing their practical skills in dentistry. The position requires use of learning management systems for curriculum delivery and evaluation as well as accurate documentation of clinical activities. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the individual will collaborate closely with faculty members and clinical staff to maintain high educational standards and promote best practices in patient care and safety.
Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective clinical teaching and practical demonstrations in dentistry to undergraduate students.
  • Prepare and update instructional materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and clinical guidelines.
  • Facilitate student learning by demonstrating techniques related to oral anatomy, dental materials, and dental radiography.
  • Supervise and guide students during clinical practice sessions to ensure correct application of dental procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum content to meet educational objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols in all clinical and teaching activities.
  • Document clinical activities and student progress accurately and maintain records according to institutional policies.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize and deliver course content and monitor student engagement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to continuously improve teaching methodologies and curriculum design.
  • Promote patient safety and ethical standards during clinical demonstrations and supervised student procedures.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in dental materials, techniques, and recommendations related to infection control.
