Sigma Engineering Services is looking for a motivated SEO Junior to join and strengthen the search engine optimization team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in SEO and digital marketing campaigns, with solid skills in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, backlink analysis, and SEO audit processes. This role involves using advanced SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs Keyword Explorer, and other industry-standard platforms to analyze website performance and identify actionable growth opportunities. The SEO Junior works onsite from 10 am to 6 pm and takes charge of developing and implementing SEO strategies designed for e-commerce and service-based websites to enhance organic traffic and search engine rankings. In addition to technical SEO tasks, the SEO Junior manages a small team of 2 people, providing guidance and fostering collaboration to ensure effective execution of SEO initiatives. The role demands strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clear, insightful reports that align with Sigma Engineering Services business goals. Candidates must have a hands-on approach to conducting comprehensive SEO audits and executing link-building strategies while keeping up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms and digital marketing trends. This position offers a starting salary of 30,000 INR for SEO Juniors and 20,000 INR for internships, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in digital marketing within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage effective SEO strategies for e-commerce and service-oriented websites to improve organic search rankings.
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify target keywords with high search potential and relevance.
Perform comprehensive SEO audits to evaluate website health, identify issues, and recommend actionable improvements.
Analyze backlink profiles, identify opportunities for link-building, and monitor link quality to enhance website authority.
Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs Keyword Explorer, Google Keyword Planner, and other platforms to track performance metrics and site analytics.
Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO campaigns.
Collaborate with the content team to optimize on-page factors including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking structure.
Prepare regular SEO performance reports and present recommendations to improve site visibility and engagement.
Stay current with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices to maintain competitive SEO strategies.
Manage and mentor a team of 2 SEO assistants/interns, providing training, guidance, and quality control of work.
Coordinate with other marketing teams to align SEO efforts with paid campaigns and overall digital marketing strategy.
Assist in managing local SEO initiatives to improve visibility in local search results and Google My Business listings.
Support digital marketing campaigns with SEO insights and help measure their organic impact.
