SiliconWhiz is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead the production operations within our dynamic clothing brand. The Production Manager will manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring all products are manufactured on schedule, meet the highest quality standards, and align with the companys goals. This role requires close coordination with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to oversee smooth and efficient workflows, allowing the company to maintain strong market competitiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in garment or apparel production management, with a strong understanding of clothing manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and quality control processes. This position requires excellent organizational and leadership abilities, as the Production Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 20 persons and driving performance to meet production deadlines. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential to quickly address and resolve production issues while optimizing efficiency and controlling costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations from sampling stage through to final product delivery while ensuring all processes align with company standards.
- Oversee and coordinate activities with suppliers, factories, and internal departments to maintain a consistent and efficient production workflow.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and adherence to delivery deadlines.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the production cycle; promptly identify and resolve any quality issues.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control production costs without compromising product quality.
- Prepare detailed production reports, performance metrics, and updates for senior management to facilitate informed decision making.
- Lead and manage a team of 20 staff members, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure sufficient materials are available for uninterrupted production activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production techniques and workflow strategies to support the growth ambitions of SiliconWhiz.
- Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure seamless fabric sourcing and timely delivery of materials required for production.
