Drupal and Shopify

Softvira is seeking a skilled Drupal and Shopify Developer with at least three years of professional web development experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in modern Drupal versions (9, 10, 11) and Shopify development, leveraging PHP, Liquid, and API integration to build and enhance content-rich, high-performance websites. This role focuses on creating scalable, efficient web experiences using modern web technologies and development best practices, including responsive and mobile-first design. The candidate will apply expert knowledge of CMS platforms, performance optimization, and security to ensure robust and seamless website functionality. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and support website features, module integration, and API interactions. They will not be responsible for managing a team but must demonstrate solid individual contribution skills and the ability to independently drive complex development tasks. Experience with e-commerce platform APIs, content management systems, SEO strategies, and debugging tools is essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control, and continuous integration is preferred to foster efficient development cycles and quality outputs.
Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules and Shopify themes to deliver dynamic web content and user experiences.
Integrate and optimize APIs for both Drupal and Shopify platforms, including Storefront and Admin APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
Utilize PHP, Object-Oriented Programming, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create efficient, modular, and maintainable codebases.
Implement performance optimization techniques including caching strategies, CDN integration, and Core Web Vitals improvements to enhance website speed and responsiveness.
Develop and maintain scalable Shopify storefronts using Shopify Liquid and custom Shopify API integrations, enabling enhanced commerce functionalities.
Employ RESTful and JSON APIs, AJAX, and web hooks to build interactive and dynamic site features while ensuring data consistency and real-time updates.
Ensure websites adhere to SEO best practices, improving visibility and organic search performance.
Apply robust security measures to protect websites and customer data, ensuring compliance with web security standards.
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment using version control tools like Git and Composer for effective code management and deployment.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across Drupal and Shopify platforms, improving system reliability and user experience.
Follow responsive and mobile-first development principles to ensure websites perform well across all devices and screen sizes.
Support website upgrades and migration projects, maintaining data integrity and continuity during platform enhancements.
Optional tasks include working with WordPress and WooCommerce platforms, and utilizing React or Vue for front-end improvements when necessary.
