We are seeking a skilled Solar Inverter Repair Technician to join our team at Solar Asia. The technician will be primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining solar inverters to ensure they deliver optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inverter Maintenance and Repair:

    • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on solar inverters to ensure efficient and safe operation.
    • Diagnose and repair faults in solar inverters, including hardware and software issues.
    • Replace damaged or malfunctioning inverter components as needed.
    • Update inverter software and firmware to ensure compatibility and performance.
  2. System Troubleshooting:

    • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues within the solar PV systems.
    • Analyze system data to pinpoint potential problems and implement effective solutions.
    • Provide timely technical support to customers and collaborate with customer support teams to address issues.
  3. Technical Support and Customer Service:

    • Offer technical assistance to customers and fellow technicians via phone, email, or on-site visits.
    • Educate customers on maintaining their solar systems effectively.
    • Document service activities and maintain comprehensive records of all repairs and maintenance work.
  4. Installation Support:

    • Assist with the installation and setup of new solar inverter systems.
    • Ensure proper installation and configuration of inverters to maximize system efficiency.
  5. Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all company safety policies, national electrical codes, and industry standards.
    • Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.
  6. Professional Development:

    • Stay abreast of advancements in solar inverter technologies and industry best practices.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or related technical field.
  • Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting and component repair, with a preference for experience in solar inverters.
  • Knowledge of solar PV system operations and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region for on-site repairs.
