We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform sonographic examinations, accurately assess findings, and effectively communicate results to physicians. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety and comfort while maintaining precise documentation and adhering to departmental protocols. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by the attending physician, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to referring physicians when required, following departmental procedures.
- Ensure the safety, mental, and physical comfort of patients throughout the examination process, coordinating with other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Address and resolve patient care issues promptly, making informed decisions to manage any challenges that arise.
- Organize daily work schedules and perform related clerical duties, coordinating with the Departmental Director or scheduling desk to ensure adequate workload coverage.
- Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients within the sonographic area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or failures to the appropriate supervisor or designated staff member.
- Use independent clinical judgment during sonographic exams to accurately distinguish between normal and pathological findings.
- Analyze sonograms in conjunction with patient medical history, synthesizing information to assist physicians in diagnosis.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department to support departmental operations.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a strong understanding of sonographic techniques and protocols.
- Ability to accurately interpret sonographic images and communicate findings effectively to medical professionals.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and comfort, with excellent interpersonal skills to manage patient interactions.
- Strong organizational abilities, including scheduling coordination and clerical task management.
- Capacity to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with maintaining accurate documentation and reporting equipment issues promptly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
