Electrician

Sparks Fly Electrical is seeking a skilled Electrician with a minimum of one year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in a relevant field and possess strong capabilities in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and interpreting electrical blueprints. This role involves working with commercial electrical systems and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to safety regulations. The Electrician will be responsible not only for executing tasks efficiently but also for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of a team of 10 persons to ensure smooth project completion and adherence to quality standards. In this position, the Electrician plays a critical role in both hands-on electrical installation and maintenance as well as in team leadership. The role demands excellent organizational and communication skills to guide the team effectively, manage project timelines, and maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial settings according to safety codes and regulations.
Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform installations and troubleshoot issues.
Diagnose malfunctioning components in electrical systems using appropriate testing devices and repair or replace faulty parts.
Lead and manage a team of 10 electricians and apprentices to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Coordinate with project managers and other departments to plan and execute electrical projects effectively.
Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards throughout all phases of work.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their technical skills and safety awareness.
Respond promptly to emergency calls or service requests to resolve electrical issues with minimal disruption.
