We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Therapist to join our team at the Korangi Campus in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to individuals experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties. This role involves working with both children and adults on an inpatient and outpatient basis, delivering evidence-based treatments and innovative therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes. The therapist will also play a key role in supporting cochlear implant recipients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, screen, and provide intervention for language, speech, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults.
- Deliver auditory verbal therapy specifically for cochlear implant recipients within the hospital network.
- Assist in the shortlisting and evaluation of patients for the cochlear implant program.
- Develop and communicate effective treatment plans with patients, their families, and referring physicians.
- Implement a combination of established and innovative therapy techniques to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and available therapeutic options.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient history, therapy progress, and outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve the best results.
- Participate in research activities aimed at advancing departmental practices and introducing innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall effectiveness and quality of service delivery.
- Manage a diverse caseload involving various speech and swallowing disorders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Language Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
