Stem Stationers is seeking a detail-oriented Composer/Computer Operator to join our team in Johar Town, Lahore. This role focuses on producing high-quality typing and composing work in both Urdu and English while efficiently handling file editing, formatting, and document processing. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong foundation in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, InPage, and PDF editing software. Familiarity with basic graphic editing tools such as Photoshop, CoreIDraw, or Adobe Photoshop is preferred to support picture editing tasks. This position requires a responsible, honest, and hardworking individual who can operate photocopying and printing machines and manage customer document work with professionalism and accuracy.
Working hours are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The role does not include team management responsibilities but demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the smooth operation of daily compositing and computer-related activities at Stem Stationers, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and timely document processing.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate typing and composing in Urdu and English languages.
- Edit and format files using various software, ensuring documents meet quality standards.
- Operate photocopy and printing machines to support document reproduction needs.
- Take prints, scan, and photocopy documents promptly and efficiently.
- Apply basic picture editing techniques using Photoshop or similar graphic editing tools.
- Manage customer document work professionally, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files for seamless access and retrieval.
- Assist in preparing PDFs and other document formats for printing or distribution.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment, reporting faults and requesting maintenance when necessary.
- Adhere to workplace schedules and complete assigned tasks within designated hours.
