We are looking for a skilled Manual & Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and developing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure software releases meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Hands-on experience with test case design and defect management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Plan and conduct manual and automated testing for software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
- Lead and mentor a team of five quality assurance professionals by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and monitoring progress.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution by identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software defects using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure adherence to Agile processes such as Scrum by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze testing results, generate reports, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize quality assurance practices.
- Ensure software products comply with quality standards and satisfy customer expectations before release.
- Train team members in best practices, new testing tools, and automation strategies to advance team capabilities.
