The Poverty Graduation of Extremely Poor and Flood-Affected Households (PGEP) is a significant initiative funded jointly by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Pakistan (GoP), with a budget of US$134.2 million. This four-year project operates under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MoPASS) and targets 25 of the most impoverished and flood-affected districts in Pakistan. PGEP aligns with national development priorities such as Uraan Pakistan, the IsDB Food Response Programme, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its primary focus is on reducing extreme poverty and economic vulnerability, fostering sustainable livelihoods and employment, and enhancing the resilience of vulnerable households against climate-related shocks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and delivery of official documents and correspondence as needed.
- Support photocopying, printing, scanning, filing, and distribution of official documents and project materials.
- Provide logistical and administrative support during meetings, workshops, field visits, and other project activities.
- Arrange and maintain meeting rooms, office supplies, and other logistical requirements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure the timely availability and proper handling of project vehicles and related equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of office furniture, seating areas, meeting rooms, and other common spaces.
- Support the office team with outdoor tasks as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support project implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification of Matriculation or equivalent.
- Demonstrated good conduct, reliability, punctuality, and basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- At least three years of relevant experience, preferably within a government office, development project, or a reputable organization.
