SZABIST - Islamabad Campus is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT and Network Support Officer to join our technology team. This role involves providing comprehensive support to the organization's IT infrastructure with a strong focus on network troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, system administration, and ensuring robust network security. The successful candidate will oversee the configuration and management of firewalls and VPN technologies to safeguard sensitive information and maintain secure communications. This position also requires managing a team of four individuals, guiding them towards efficiently resolving technical issues and maintaining operational excellence in all network-related functions.
The ideal candidate must possess at least three years of experience in IT and network support roles, with a minimum of two years demonstrating expertise in network security and system administration. A university-level education with at least 16 years of formal education is essential. Strong communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with different departments and deliver user-friendly technical assistance. The role demands proactive problem-solving abilities and consistent adherence to industry best practices to enhance the overall IT environment and support organizational objectives.
