Manager Accounts Payable

TCS Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Manager Accounts Payable to join our finance team. This role focuses on overseeing the accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in managing financial transactions related to vendor payments and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in accounts payable within the service industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial procedures and compliance requirements. This position does not involve team management responsibilities but requires collaboration with various departments to maintain efficient payment processes and accurate financial reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for executing vendor invoice processing, coordinating bank reconciliations, and ensuring all financial records are meticulously maintained. You will work closely with auditors and internal teams to support financial audits and improve accounts payable workflows. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders are essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process including invoice verification, payment processing, and record maintenance.
Perform bank reconciliations to verify and ensure accuracy of financial transactions related to accounts payable.
Liaise with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and approvals for payment processing.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Assist in preparing documentation and supporting materials for internal and external audits.
Monitor compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to accounts payable activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, payment schedules, and other financial documentation.
Ensure adherence to service industry regulations and standards in all accounts payable transactions.
