Think Higher Consultants is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager in Human Resources to lead and oversee the HR operations within the company. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and payroll management. This role plays a critical part in developing HR policies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and managing both payroll and compliance management software effectively. As the Assistant Manager, you will also take charge of a team of 20 HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and leadership to drive human resource initiatives in alignment with organizational goals. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing daily HR activities, improving existing processes, and fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with senior management to implement strategies that attract and retain talent, enhance employee engagement, and uphold company culture. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements. The successful candidate will be proactive in resolving employee relations issues and skilled in using payroll and compliance management software to streamline operations.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the talent acquisition process by coordinating recruitment activities and ensuring the selection of qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee relations to maintain a healthy workplace environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Oversee performance management by implementing appraisal systems and facilitating employee development programs.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
  • Administer payroll management processes using payroll software to guarantee timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Utilize compliance management software to monitor adherence to statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 20 HR professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and support organizational growth.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making and optimize human capital management.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and promote career advancement.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee records and sensitive HR information.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within HR functions and implement innovative solutions.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies in compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and best HR practices to advise management and ensure compliance.
