Sales assistants are critical to sales function and with their input makes sure that the sales cycle runs smoothly. Individuals need to be highly organized, disciplined and self-motivated to resolve diversified workplace challenges. The sales support executive will also be responsible for retaining clients and is the point of contact person for any follow up work.
The sales support’s purpose is to:
- Assist in overall sales process.
- Order fulfillment
- Account reporting and stock audit
As a sales assistant you are also expected to support in the development of wider office functions as required.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist in overall sales process
- Make sure invoices are sent to respective clients at start of the month.
- Build good relationship with BAs and work closely with them.
- Work closely with accounts and finance to get timely reports of all clients.
- Follow up with existing clients for payments
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales process
Order fulfillment
- Understand the complete product portfolio of Three Sails
- Fulfill customer orders as per demand and requirement.
- Ensure stock report is maintained for clients and they do not run out of stock.
Account reporting and stock audit
- Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure inventory is accurately logged
- Work with senior management to perform audit of supplies and stock
- Actively use and update online tools (TMx, G Suite, OKRs, hubspot) to inform senior management of your performance against agreed targets
- Organizational support
- Support senior management in building organizational capabilities
- Provide assistance in non-sales related roles when needed
- Collect necessary information from the market on our products, competitor offering and report back to senior management.
