Accountant

Times Accountants is seeking an experienced chartered certified accountant to join the team. You have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing accounting firm that is operating exclusively in one of the most exciting and evolving industries.

You will be responsible for the highest quality of output and deliverables to our clients, whilst managing a team of junior accountants to ensure monthly deadlines are met.

We are a successful accountancy firm operating in Greater London We deal with Accountancy, Self Assessment, Business Consultancy, Book-Keeping, Payroll Services, Business Start-Ups, VAT, Corporation Tax to HM Revenue & Customs.

Responsibilities

Own the month-end process for a portfolio of clients, producing work to a perfect standard.

With the assistance of junior bookkeepers/accountants you will:

Produce annual statutory financial statements and tax returns.
Oversee the work of the juniors, managing their time and responsibilities effectively.
Complete and review full balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce monthly management accounts.
Process monthly payrolls.
Complete quarterly VAT returns.
Complete any accounting task assigned from the London office.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is very organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Has a minimum of 3 years experience in carrying out the above responsibilities in chartered accountants firm.

Is a chartered accountant (ACCA or ACA qualified).

Has advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, keyboard shortcuts).

Has good working knowledge of Quick Books/Xero/Sage.
