Job responsibilities:

As sales controller, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the chemical market segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in chemical sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the sulfuric acid industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and technical support to ensure alignment of sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals by company policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management to track performance and inform decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services and enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay informed about developments in the chemical industry, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and market dynamics.
  • Mentor and coach sales team members to develop their skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

• Proven track record of success in chemical sales, with at least 3 years of experience in the chemical industry.

• Strong understanding of chemical applications, production processes, and market dynamics.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend events and support sales activities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and software
