Tracking is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our dynamic technical teams based primarily in Pakistan, with frequent travel required to Saudi Arabia. As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological vision, driving innovation, and ensuring our technology infrastructure supports our ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Define and implement the overall technology vision and roadmap for the company, aligning with our strategic goals and market demands.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technical teams.
- Lead by example, inspiring and motivating a high-performing team of engineers, developers, and technical specialists.
- Technical:
- Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of our core technology infrastructure, including the tracking portal, mobile applications, web interfaces and cloud platforms (e.g., IaaS based local providers and Oracle Cloud).
- Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like AI, big data analytics, and machine learning to enhance our solutions and services portfolio (e.g., e-commerce, fuel card systems, logistics services, etc).
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and ensure our technology stack remains competitive and scalable.
Strategic:
- Partner with business leaders (Sales, Marketing, Executive) to translate business objectives into actionable technology solutions.
- Lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies that optimize operations, improve efficiency and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee vendor management and ensure successful collaboration with third-party service providers.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive vehicle and user data, adhering to all relevant industry regulations and data privacy laws.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in CS, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the technology industry.
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (SCRUM preferred) and best practices.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms (experience with Oracle Cloud and IaaS deployments a plus).
- Experience with telematics, GPS, and data analytics technologies.
- Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic vision and ability to translate business goals into technological solutions.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a global outlook.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
