Trade Tacts International Pvt. Ltd. seeks a dedicated IT Support Officer with a minimum of two years of experience to join our technology department. The successful candidate supports the organization by maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, ensuring seamless network operations, and providing effective technical assistance to users. This role involves managing and leading a small team of one person, overseeing day-to-day IT support activities and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
The IT Support Officer provides hands-on support including operating system assistance, hardware maintenance, and network fundamentals. They use remote support tools to resolve issues swiftly and ensure minimal disruption to business operations. The role requires strong knowledge in Windows Server administration and hardware troubleshooting. This position is ideal for an individual committed to resolving IT challenges efficiently and enhancing system performance across the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a support team to deliver effective IT services and quick resolution to technical problems.
- Provide technical troubleshooting for software, operating systems, and hardware issues to maintain optimal system performance.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments ensuring system security, updates, and backups are performed regularly.
- Support and maintain hardware components including desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment.
- Utilize remote support tools to assist users and resolve technical issues promptly regardless of location.
- Monitor network fundamentals to detect and resolve connectivity issues and ensure continuous network availability.
- Document all technical procedures, issues, and resolutions to maintain clear and accessible records for future reference.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide tailored support that aligns with business objectives.
- Conduct regular hardware maintenance checks and troubleshoot hardware malfunctions quickly to minimize downtime.
- Provide user training and guidance on hardware and software applications to improve user competency and reduce common technical issues.
