We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team in the private sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing day-to-day banking transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate with vendors regarding payments, tax matters, and other financial inquiries. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant regulations while streamlining financial operations to support the overall efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
  • Maintained accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors and suppliers regarding payments, outstanding invoices, tax documentation, and other financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard the company’s assets and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and enhance overall business performance.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Odoo; experience with other financial software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
