Retail Manager

V Surfaces is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations, enforce staff discipline, and maintain exceptional customer service standards in the showroom environment. The Retail Manager is responsible for ensuring that sales targets are consistently met while managing stock levels, display arrangements, and compliance with all standard operating procedures including reporting, opening and closing routines, and cash handling processes. This role requires a proactive leader who can inspire and manage a team of 15 persons, fostering a productive and positive work environment to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong operational planning and team leadership skills. They take ownership of the stores overall performance and work closely with staff to drive sales growth, address and resolve any operational or customer-related issues, and sustain showroom excellence. The Retail Manager ensures smooth and effective daily operations by coordinating activities, motivating the team, and maintaining high standards of service and presentation at all times.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 15 staff members to ensure efficient store operations and high levels of employee engagement.
Implement and monitor operational plans that align with company objectives and drive sales performance.
Maintain discipline and performance standards within the team to create a positive work environment.
Ensure excellent customer service by overseeing the customer experience and swiftly addressing issues.
Oversee stock management including receipt, storage, display, and replenishment to optimize product availability and presentation.
Ensure compliance with all store standard operating procedures, including opening and closing checklists and accurate cash handling.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to senior management highlighting sales performance and operational activities.
Coordinate visual merchandising efforts to maintain attractive and appealing showroom displays that align with brand guidelines.
Train and develop staff to improve skills, product knowledge, and customer handling capabilities.
Resolve any operational challenges promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to store performance and customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales targets closely, driving team efforts to achieve or exceed these goals through motivation and performance tracking.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall company initiatives and promotional campaigns.
