Vention is seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Accountant with at least one year of experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. This role requires proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials, and strong skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Effective communication skills and fluency in English are essential to interact with internal stakeholders and support financial operations seamlessly. This position does not require managing a team but involves collaborating closely with other departments to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Utilize ERP systems and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials to record and manage financial data effectively.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and financial statements.
- Monitor and verify journal entries and postings to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial information as required.
- Support audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance.
