Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely VAT reporting, and assisting with account reconciliations. Precision and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately post customer receipts into the accounting system
Prepare and file VAT reports in accordance with applicable regulations
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
Support the Senior Accountant and finance team with ad hoc financial tasks and projects

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferably B.Com.)
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and debit/credit-mechanics
Comfortable with basic mathematics (e.g. percentages) and proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills in English
Excellent attention to detail, fully focused with a zero-error mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Capable of managing time effectively and meeting deadlines

Working Conditions:

May require extended hours during month-end or year-end closings
The position is remote, but requires the following:
Stable electricity and reliable internet connection at home

Full-time commitment — no parallel part-time jobs or tuition services allowed

Work hours 8 hours /day, 5 days /week.
