Pharmacy Counter Cashier

WellCure Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Counter Cashier with a minimum of five years of experience who excels in handling cash transactions and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate possesses strong numerical skills, the ability to manage POS systems efficiently, and maintains a professional and presentable appearance at all times. Punctuality, responsibility, and a customer-focused attitude are essential as you will be the primary point of contact for customers making purchases, ensuring smooth and accurate transaction processes. In this position, you will perform cash handling duties, manage daily financial transactions accurately, and support overall store operations with diligence. Though this role does not include team management responsibilities, it requires effective communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with pharmacy staff. Embracing a shift work schedule, you will contribute to maintaining WellCure Pharmacys reputation for outstanding service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide courteous, prompt service at the pharmacy counter.
Process cash, card, and electronic transactions quickly and accurately using the point of sale (POS) system.
Maintain precise cash drawer management, ensuring accurate balancing at the start and end of shifts.
Verify pricing, authorize discounts as applicable, and process returns or exchanges according to policy.
Manage daily reconciliations of cash and card sales and prepare reports for pharmacy management review.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable counter area consistent with WellCure Pharmacys standards.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, prescriptions, and pharmacy services courteously and professionally.
Identify discrepancies or irregularities in transactions and report them promptly to management.
Follow all procedures related to confidentiality and compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
Operate and troubleshoot basic functions of the POS system and other computer applications involved in sales processing.
Demonstrate punctuality and adhere to assigned shift schedules to ensure continuous service availability.
Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct, fostering a welcoming environment for customers.
Support team members and pharmacy staff by efficiently communicating customer needs and transaction information.
