We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will play a crucial role in preparing and executing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards. This individual will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare ingredients and execute cooking techniques by established recipes and guidelines.
  2. Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently to meet service standards and guest expectations.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
  4. Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  5. Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  6. Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate timing and execution of food orders to ensure timely delivery to guests.
  7. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and receiving of supplies as needed.
  8. Follow direction from the Head Chef or Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and contribute to menu development.
  9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines and uniform standards.
  10. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or food service establishment.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency in food preparation.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized culinary school (preferred but not required).
