Responsibilities

Perform detailed roofing material estimation and construction cost estimating to support project budgeting and planning.
Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs using provided plans and specifications to determine material requirements.
Utilize AutoCAD software to review architectural drawings and assist in preparing accurate estimates.
Coordinate communication and negotiations with vendors and suppliers to source materials at competitive prices.
Evaluate risks associated with materials and project timelines to advise on cost impacts and project feasibility.
Lead and manage a team of two estimators, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and procurement teams to align estimation and project objectives.
Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, vendor contacts, and project documentation for seamless reference and auditing.
Monitor industry trends in roofing materials and construction techniques to recommend innovative cost-saving opportunities.
