We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior WordPress & Shopify Developer to lead and execute web development projects with precision, creativity, and performance in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development:
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
Optimize sites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Implement page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) as needed.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and performance issues.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRM systems.
Shopify Development:
Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Set up Shopify stores, including product imports, collections, navigation, and apps.
Develop custom features using Shopify APIs and storefront tools.
Maintain and optimize existing Shopify stores for speed and conversion.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
Strong command of PHP, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with theme and plugin development in WordPress.
Deep understanding of Shopify platform limitations and capabilities.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with headless WordPress or Shopify (Next.js, React).
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
Familiarity with site speed tools like GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights.
Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards.
