Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management Strategy:
- Develop and execute a robust risk management strategy aligned with the company\'s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Establish risk tolerance levels and implement risk mitigation measures to protect the company\'s financial health.
Credit Risk Assessment:
- Oversee the development and enhancement of credit risk models to evaluate the creditworthiness of nano loans.
- Implement effective credit scoring mechanisms and ensure timely updates based on evolving market trends and borrower behavior.
Operational Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across all aspects of the lending process.
- Implement and monitor key risk indicators to proactively address potential operational issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the company\'s lending practices adhere to local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the loan portfolio, identifying potential risks and proposing strategies to optimize portfolio quality.
- Implement strategies to diversify and balance risk within the portfolio.
Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to assess risk factors, detect trends, and generate insightful reports for senior management.
- Provide regular risk management reports to the executive team and board of directors.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate risk-related issues, strategies, and initiatives to internal stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of risk management objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
