Career Opportunity for Technical Engineer in Data Center Operations

Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of configuring network infra, including routers, switches, servers, and firewalls, to meet clients' specific requirements.
- Perform network capacity planning, optimization, and monitoring to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Maintain and monitor data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and power distribution units (PDUs).
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of data center equipment.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot system errors, and escalate problems as needed to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement and support data center security measures, including access controls and surveillance systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute data center expansion projects.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of servers and networking devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to data center procedures, equipment inventory, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data center operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- atleast 2 years experience in data center operations, managing server hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity of top leading brands SANGFOR, CISCO, MICROSOFT, HP, DELL, SOPHOS, BARRACUDA, FORTINET.
- Familiarity with data center management tools and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of cooling, power distribution, and environmental controls in data centers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in data center technologies (e.g., CDCP, DCMDS, DCOS, CCNA Data Center) are a plus point and will be on high priortiy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (HCI, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
