We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to lead eCommerce web design projects from concept to developer handoff. The ideal candidate is fluent in Figma, understands what drives user behavior in online shopping, and can translate conversion goals into intuitive and beautiful interfaces.
This is a key role on our design team you’ll collaborate with strategists, developers, and clients to shape the next generation of high-performance Shopify stores.
Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead the complete UI/UX design process for Shopify and headless eCommerce projects—from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and developer-ready specs.
Design Systems: Build and maintain robust design systems in Figma, using auto-layouts, variants, and design tokens for scalability and consistency.
Conversion-Focused UX: Design optimized checkout flows, micro-interactions, and animations aimed at reducing friction and increasing CVR (Conversion Rate) and AOV (Average Order Value).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and engineers in two-week sprint cycles to deliver high-impact features on time.
Performance Optimization: Use data from tools like GA4, Hotjar, and Klaviyo to identify improvement areas and propose A/B testing strategies.
Client Engagement: Present design work to clients confidently, justify design choices with data, and iterate rapidly based on feedback.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Figma Mastery: 3+ years of hands-on experience with production-level site designs. Strong command of component libraries, auto-layout, variants, and tokens.
eCommerce Experience: Portfolio demonstrating UX for high-conversion eCommerce sites or SaaS dashboards.
Responsive & Accessible Design: Expertise in mobile-first design, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, fluid typography, and spacing scales.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to translate analytics and behavioral data into actionable design decisions and experiments.
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication in English via Slack, Loom, and Notion.
Self-Management: Highly organized, receptive to feedback, and able to work autonomously in a distributed team environment.
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Basic understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
