Head of Engineering

As a strategic leader, the role includes providing the team with the right strategic direction, introducing new technologies, setting goals, prioritizing projects, and interacting with stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for identifying the requirements, setting timelines, and introducing best engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting-edge web and mobile applications/solutions
From scope identification to delivery of final solution, manage the entire software development and deployment process
Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting all software applications
Plan and implement software engineering projects
Ensure timely delivery of the solutions, within the effort and cost parameters
Ensure quality of the solutions delivered
Design and implement strategies for future development projects based on the company’s objectives and resources
Provide leadership, management, and technical vision to the team
Provide technical consultation as well as expertise to the team

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering (front-end and back-end development)
Excellent Project Management skills and familiarity with Project Management tools
Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps
Leadership abilities with a strategic mindset
Experience in dealing directly with the customers
