The incumbent shall be expected to perform the following with limited supervision:

Respond promptly to relevant tenders by multilateral/bilateral donor organizations and IFIs
Development and submission of EOIs and proposal documents in response to international multilateral/bilateral donor organizations
Ensure full understanding of the requirements and procedures for responding to tenders/RFPs and advise colleagues on the matter
Maintain database of local and international subject matter specialists - individuals and firms
Conduct market intelligence, due diligence, research and analysis to support colleagues in developing business and compiling EOIs and proposals
Take measures to make the bidding process more efficient and streamline business development
Maintain project database and statements of relevant experience to feed into bid documents
Relationship management and interface with specialist firms and individuals experts
Coordinate and liaise with support departments to facilitate Practice Area
Coordinate with Corporate Communications and Branding team to effectively promote practice area on social media to various target audiences, and showcase service offerings, track record, capacity and credentials
Timely compilation and uploading/publication of The Abacus Prompt (a monthly publication covering the stock market, commodity markets, currency markets and macro-economic movements as well as major news and updates for the month)
Coordinate and liaise with PMO to record projects for time sheet management
General support to senior colleagues in developing business, research, analysis, compiling EOIs, writing proposals, developing presentations and carrying out routine activities

Requirements :

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Economics, Finance OR other related discipline
Experience in business development, account management and proposal writing for international financial institutions, bilateral or multilateral donor organizations
Adept at working with web-portals (for online registration, communication, uploading information, coordination etc)
Excellent report writing and presentation skills (professional, grammatically correct, formatted, properly researched, with graphs and charts)
Experience in project coordination and management
Adept at working with Microsoft Office – especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
