We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting activities within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare journal entries and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or ACCA/ICMA/CA-Inter.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Freshbooks).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
