Purpose of the role:
To ensure the overall design and delivery of the programmes in respect to the overall Country Strategy of Action Against Hunger in country.
Job Profile:
Master's degree in relevant field with minimum 10 years of overall experience with 06 years at senior management role in development sector
OR
Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 12 years overall experience with 08 years at senior management role in development sector
Individual accountabilities:
1. Consultative development of the country programme strategy;
2. Operational management of all technical sectors;
3. Ensure accountability to beneficiaries, government counterparts and donors;
4. Recruit and manage staff in PD/grants, programmes, MEAL, IM, research, operations
5. Ensure systems for project development, programmes, MEAL, IM, research and operations are in place and implemented.
6. Act as Country Director as required.

1. Ensure regular and constructive leadership and support for field implementation
2. Development of project proposals in line with programme strategy
3. Ensure programme implementation in line with ACF regulations, donor technical regulations, government technical regulations
4. Manage donor relations and mapping to enable resource mobilization
5. Ensure regular coordination of programmes through WCM, MCMs and other meetings as required
6. Oversee partnership relations including strategic agreements and coordination for due diligence and risk management
7. Ensure gender strategy and mainstreaming within programming
8. Ensure overall field planning is conducted and regular internal coordination is managed to enable operations
9. Manage MEAL and IM verifications of field implementation and systems
10. Ensure timely submission of APRs and other related reports for HQ
11. Conduct regular analysis of the needs in order to update the programme strategy
