Pakistan’s First Artificial Intelligence based Ad-Tech Company needs a technical co-founder as CTO (Chief Technology Officer). The Founder of the company is an advertising industry veteran and was among the only two Pakistanis selected for the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in 2017 based on this Idea.
We need a Data Scientist / Deep Learning / Machine Learning Expert with good experience in dealing with Computer Vision and Image processing Problems. The candidate should be comfortable working with Python, Open CV, Keras, Tensor Flow and MATLAB. Hands on experience in Python is a MUST with a background in computer vision / Image Processing. Some prior research based project in object recognition / object detection / facial detection / facial recognition would be preferred. Familiarity with unit testing and debugging would be required as well. The candidate should have strong OOP concepts and should apply OOP to everything what they do.
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the ideal candidate would be wearing many hats; as a team leader / manager as well as carrying out research based projects for further product development along with dealing day to day technical tasks and with any challenges that may arise. This role would be as much rewarding and exciting as much it would be challenging.
The ideal candidate preferably should have some experience in handling web based API’s in Python along with handling Open CV or other computer vision libraries. Background in computer vision is a MUST. Some hands on experience in handling MySQL / No SQL data bases, PHP (Laravel Framework) and Android Apps /Java would be preferred as well. Although not complementary but some familiarity and hands on experience in cloud architecture development and dev-ops would be a plus point. The applicant would be paid a monthly salary as well, along with equity in the company. The company has a ready product and is going to launch its operations within one month. Lahore based applicants would be preferred or those who are already working in Lahore. Fresh graduates can also apply if they have demonstrated leadership skills in their university and have completed some interesting projects in the field of computer vision / image processing.
