Prepare energy audit reports that include the results of the energy analysis and recommendations for energy cost savings, energy efficient technologies or alternate energy sources.
Calculate and evaluate energy usage and conservation information from various sources and identify any health or safety concerns
Determine which energy-saving solutions are considerable and suggest the use of energy-saving devices or alternative energy sources
Determine the energy consumption of each system by inspecting or evaluating construction methods, mechanical systems, electrical wiring, or process systems
Quantify energy consumption to establish baselines for energy use or need and identify and prioritize energy saving measures.
Conduct various inspections, ranging from walkthroughs to general inspections.
Analyze utility data by inspecting the building's structure and energy bills to discover areas for improvement.
Measure energy usage with devices such as data loggers, universal data recorders, light meters, sling psychrometers, psychrometric charts, flue gas analyzers, amp-probes, watt meters, volt meters, thermometers, or utility meters.
Determine patterns of building use to show annual or monthly needs for heating, cooling, lighting, or other energy needs.
Identify opportunities to improve the operation, maintenance, or energy efficiency of building or process systems.
Inspect newly installed energy-efficient equipment to ensure that it was installed properly and is performing according to specifications.
Understand technical feasibility of energy-saving measures using engineering knowledge, energy use, construction, maintenance, system operation or process systems.
Support management in developing Green building strategy and yearly implementation plans.
Support management in developing annual budgets for improving energy efficiency of facilities.

Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES,P) is a network of educational institutions that combines the operation of 159 schools and 5 hostels with the management of programmes to enhance the quality of teachers, academic resources and learning environments in Pakistan through community partnerships and long-term interventions. It is one of the largest third-sector networks of educational institutions in Pakistan and part of an international network of over 200 schools spread in 8 countries of the world under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Reaching out to the remotest areas of the country, AKES,P has been providing quality education in the region for the past 110 years. It is a direct provider of education for nearly 36,000 students from pre-primary to higher secondary levels and facilitates access to higher education through the provision of scholarships, hostels and other educational support services.With more than 2,000 employees, of whom over 1,500 areteachers, AKES,P is also supported by over 2,000 volunteers. In Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, the first AKES,P schools were setup in the 1940s; since then they have contributed significantly toincreasing the literacy rates and social development in theremote, mountainous, harsh and ecologically fragile regions ofNorthern Pakistan. AKES,P currently operates 151 schools inGilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, providing education to over 27,000students, of which 54% are girls. Through these efforts, AKES,Pis continuing to play a critical role in women’s development inthe region. In the Southern Region, AKES,P operates four schools in Karachi,three in Hyderabad and rural Sindh and one in Hafizabad,Punjab, with over 8,900 students. All AKES,P schools follow theNational Curriculum but place special emphasis on the teachingof English, Mathematics, Science and the increasing use ofInformation and Communication Technologies (ICT).
