About This Role:
We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager. The candidate should assume responsibility, exercise leadership, seek new challenges, take initiatives, thinks out of the box and should be a good team player.
Candidate would be required to do the following:
- Ability to drive the overall planning and execution of highly complex testing activities in support of products (in development).
- Knows how to monitor scope and requirement changes and assess the impact on the Quality Assurance (QA) deliverables
- Provide technical leadership to the test team.
- Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end test planning, design, execution, monitoring and control to meet program needs.
- Experience with quality methodologies.
- Test planning: inter-group coordination, risk-based test planning.
- To be actively involved with the testing and validation of the software.
Skills Required:
- 7+ years of meaningful experience in software manual testing and automation testing, with validated, and proven understanding of software development and testing practices.
- 2+ years of experience in leading QA/testing projects
- 3+ years of team management experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly within and out of team.
- Experience of automation is a must.
- Must have experience in Web/Mobile application testing.
- API automation testing using Postman or any other tool is mandatory.
- Should be able to assist in bug regression, step by step troubleshooting and problem isolation.
- Quick learning skills to rapidly adopt new tools/technologies and business domains.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation systems using Selenium.
- Test cases and test data creation against business needs.
- Bug tracking and resolution via bug tracking software (Redmine).
- Boundary value analysis & equivalence partitioning.
- Black-box and Glass-box testing of internal and publisher facing applications and endpoints.
- Familiarity with databases and competence in SQL.
