School Principal will be expected to do the following tasks on daily basis:

Provide leadership and administration which will motivate instructional and support personnel to strive for superior performance so as to provide the best possible opportunities for student growth and development, both educationally and personally.
Developing and administering the general school routine, and coordinate all activities within the school.
Participating in the selection of new teaching and support personnel.
Observing, counselling, and motivating professional staff toward performances to attain the educational goals set by the Board of Directors.
Continually evaluating existing programs and practices, curriculum content, and pilot or experimental programs.
Maintaining an educational philosophy and school climate which encourages a cooperative and participating attitude on the part of all teachers and students
Maintaining a standard of student behaviour designed to command respect and minimise school and classroom interruptions.
Maintaining effective communication to keep the staff, students, and parents properly informed.
Orienting new personnel assigned to the school.
Having school records available and up to date for ready reference and reporting.
Planning and conducting faculty meetings as necessary.
Affecting or recommending changes which will lead to improved administration, supervision and opportunity for student development.
Actively participating and encouraging staff participation in parent-teacher and other community groups, as a means of developing understanding, cooperation, and respect for school objectives and endeavours.
Any other relevant duties assigned by the Board of Directors.

Siraj House Society (trust) was established in 1979 by Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar (late), with an objective to serve the society in particular and the nation in general. A free dispensary is working since 1980 in the premises of Siraj House Society located in Shad Bagh, Lahore. Realizing the need of an institution that would provide quality education for children of the area, Siraj House Society (trust) embarked on a project of establishing a higher secondary school. A purpose built campus with 22 classrooms, science labs, computer lab, library, and an administration block was completed in 2004. Over the past few years, the school has gained a distinction of being the only school in the area with a purpose built campus imparting quality education against a very nominal fee. Today, the school has 36 classrooms and separate blocks for boys and girls. The current strength of the school is 1200 students and it has achieved excellent results in Punjab Board exams. More than 90% of the students have scored A grade in Primary, Middle and Matric Board exams. Akbari Public School's alumni is represented at Lahore's top colleges such as GC University, FC College, Punjab College and Islamia College - Civil Lines. Akbari Public School also focuses on character building and personality development by providing students exposure to extra-curricular activities such as annual sports gala, fun fair, science exhibition and debating competitions./p
