Achieves the goals by planning, budgeting, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, delegating, monitoring, controlling, and regulating various laboratory functions.
Ensures the quality of testing in all diagnostic facilities provided by the laboratory.
Develops the laboratory strategic plan in consultation with other stakeholders.
Oversees all technical and managerial functions.
Ensures periodic, preventive maintenance and prompts repair of the entire laboratory equipment.
Undertakes periodic/regular reviews of the laboratory services to identify lapses and takes measures for improvement.
