1. Co-ordination with medical officers and other assistant registrars concerning duties and making duty roster for NICU. Arranging holidays for medical officers/other assistant registrars

2. Ensuring duty doctors carry out tasks assigned to them. Ensure proper documentation, history taking and file work by medical officers. Checking files to rounds are documented and file work is maintained.

3. Good counselling skills with patients/attendant. Dealing with any problems arising with patient care

4. Good communication with consultants. Discussing any problems with patient care

5. Knowledge of all admitted pediatric patients, Knowledge of all pre-op and post-op patients

6. Carrying out administrative work coordinating with HR, Admin, pharmacy and lab.

7. Attend management meetings when called.

8. Receiving/managing pediatric & neonatal patients in ER when called.

9. Managing and doing duties as clinical doctor in NICU.

10. Managing pediatric patients presenting in ER when called and arranging senior help when required.

11. Other tasks assigned by Head of MSA or designee.

12. Following SOPs of Hospital and Department in true letter and spirit.
