Job Title: Accounts Manager / Import Assistant

Job Summary:  We are seeking an experienced person to join our team and help manage the financial activities of Import trading & solar services company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, coordinate with banks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This position will report to the CEO and work closely with other members of the finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for documentation regarding opening LCs & Bank contracts for import
  • Documentation of all import shipments.
  • Assist in the Customs Clearance department.
  •  Coordinate with Insurance companies. Import costing and assist with entering purchases & perform any other duty in the same capacity as assigned by the management.
  • Responsible for Documentation for different govt. tenders. These include pre-qualifications, bidding, Invoicing, inspection reports, Delivery orders, etc.
  • Maintain accounts of Joint Ventures with different companies/investors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other tools
  • Prepare the project-wise cost for every installed solar project in ERP software & Cost analysis for each project.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments & analyze the financial standings of an organization.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including developing financial models and analyzing variances
  • Prepare and file all the data documents related to Tax returns & assist the lawyer.
  • Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements
  • Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Good English writing skills for professional emails
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel & other accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
