Social Media Manager

As the sSocial Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the candidate's visibility, engage with voters, and drive traffic to their campaign website.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the candidate's goals and vision for the campaign
Manage and monitor social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts, that resonate with the target audience
Engage with voters and followers through social media channels, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
Monitor social media trends and adjust the strategy as necessary to stay relevant and effective
Report on social media performance, analyzing metrics and insights to inform future strategy and tactics

Requirements:

Proven experience as a social media manager, ideally in a political campaign or advocacy setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling and persuasive content
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including best practices, advertising options, and algorithms
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, political science, or a related field
