Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized procurement officer to oversee purchases and develop new contracts. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases.

Responsibilities

Sourcing vendors globally
Addressing customer's requirement in timely manner
Managing RFQs and POs data
Follow up POs for timely delivery
Any additional task assigned by manager
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records and supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges.
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts

Qualifications

An engineering Degree or Equivalent knowledge
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
Must be capable to understand inquiry
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Familiar with local market
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Goal-oriented, organized team player
